1. We are down to 4-5 officers

                                                              i.     One officer has been out due to car accident.

                                                            ii.     One officer is in training

                                                           iii.     One officer is on sick leave due to heart surgery

2. So we are short staffed.
3. Inundated with new rental registration.
4. Revenue is down regardless of rise due to lack of officers
5. Back logged, complaints are secondary.

                                                              i.     New computer system being worked out.

6. 2900 Block Cooley, has trash build up, and has been repeatedly had an officer out there.

                                                              i.     He has been written up at least twice prior, then cleans up after notice, then allows it to get out of control again.

                                                            ii.     Front yard vehicle.

1.       Code used to be able to issue front yard car towing.  Now Police need to do this.

2.       Current code can tag it and if they expired, code would issue the removal, after running a LIEN.

                                                           iii.     Snow blower in yard that has been there 2 years and not used.

                                                          iv.     Log splitter sitting on lawn.

7. Code does not handle snow removal, please call public service at 483-4455 for all sidewalk complaints

8. New Business
1. Averill School will continue to work with Waverly Crime rate.

                                                              i.     Family Dollar Waverly, has had 4^th robbery in last month

1.       Then Cedars FD also did

                                                            ii.     Similarly with Churchill Downs, is working to reduce crimes
