a. Current Balance is $255.62
b. $50 to buy gift cards for Bea Christy Award Dinner
c. Donations accepted.
6. Code Compliance: Gregg Schrimger
a. Broken Vehicle in drive way; owner will remove it, shortly.
b. Checked security on vacant houses on Victor Avenue.
c. West Mt Hope, two tagged home's are vacant, one picked-up by investment. Dave Sheets bought another.
d. Several houses had the copper stolen in Colonial Village; in one case, they came in the front door and broke it open.
e. Keep an eye on vacant houses to prevent this happening in our neighborhood!
f. Call Police if people are present at houses with Lansing red, green or yellow tags, and the Lansing City Seal.
g. Description of trash and debris policy and procedures.
h. Several trucks and trailers with trash seen on lawns at homes on Pleasant Groove, Victor and Hampden.
i. Snow removal on walkways is still the law.
7. LPD’s Sgt. Frank Koenigsknecht
a. Please call dispatch and inform them about 2am-5am parking violations.
b. Cooper stolen from house on Bellaire.
c. Larceny from unlocked vehicle at house left on the street.
d. Please write down the serial numbers of all of your items to provide to police if stolen, to cross reference at pawn shops.
e. Please lock car doors – doors on your sheds and garages. Lock up mowers, snow blowers and weed whackers. Trunks can be popped from an unlocked vehicle door.
f. Mark your power tools with an ID number.
g. Please call and report suspicious actions.
h. Call any time of day or night.
i. Call and sign up for house checks with LPD if you’re going to be away from your home.
j. Call Lansing Police department: 483-4600 w/questions.
8. New Business
a. LRNA garage sale is scheduled for Saturday, June 19th, Father's Day week-end. It’s the same Saturday we’ve used for over five years now and seems to be a favorite with neighbors.
b. National Night Out has been moved back by a week, to accommodate folks who participate in the primary election. Therefore, the LRNA Annual Picnic will be held on Tuesday, August 10th this year.
c. March's meeting is deferred.
