Lewton-Rich Neighborhood Association
October 19, 2006
- Welcome: Meeting was opened at 7:08 p.m
- Pledge of allegiance
- Introductions: 18 people present. Sgt. K mentioned
that Halloween is coming up, and for everyone to be aware of children
walking on the roads. The hours are from 6-9 p.m. and he recommended that
kids have reflective materials on their costumes or at least, flashlights so
that they are more visible. Also, talk to your children about remembering to
cross roads at cross walks, and be careful when crossing. If you are
participating in Halloween, keep your porch light on. If you find candy
that is open, do not eat it, and if you have any concerns, you can drop it
off at the fire dept. His phone number is 272-7488. He also is working on
the problem of parking at Lewton (in no parking areas) and also kids walking
home from Rich in the middle of the street.
