Officer Dingwell will be here also.

8. CITY COUNCIL REPORT:
Randy Williams reported that the budget would be out on Monday. South budget meeting will be on April 13, from 6-8 here at D. Rich. He would like to see turnout from the South side. We should come to give input on the budget and the city focus, e.g. fire, police, and street repair. Randy will push for public involvement on city projects. He asked if we have any suggestions on how to handle Pleasant Grove to dissuade people from passing on the right. Bike lanes will be removed from Pleasant Grove.
A question was asked if there will be a bike lane on Moores River Drive, but there will be a committee to talk about it. Input needed from the association about what we want.
A question was asked about whether or not parking is allowed over night--between 2-5 a.m. there is no parking on any city street.

483-4600 is the police number to call and complain about cars on the street.

9. PUBLIC COMMENT: Mike Morovsky reported about a scam of someone asking for money for car repairs. The description was a Black male with Addidas jacket. Not legitimate. Be on the lookout and tell our neighbors.

Kathy Dunbar: talking about budget meetings: Her job has been eliminated--as community development person on the Southside. People could write to their county commissioners--Vic Celentino is our county commissioner. Neil will call Vic to talk about this. Neither Vic nor Randy was aware of this decision. Calvin Lynch is another commissioner and Lisa Denden also.

Motion made by Bill Renfrew to have board write a letter to commissioners regarding funding for Kathy's position. Motion supported and carried. Mike Morovsky said that Kathy had been a wonderful support. Neil said that Kathy had connected him to the community. Vic's phone number is 676-7200. You can call the secretary and tell her that you want to leave the same message for each commissioner. The home phone number is 887-3145 for Calvin Lynch.

Let them hear from you.

Kathy talked about uneven sidewalks on Belaire. This is on public record as is the area by Mt. Hope and the trailer park. 483-4057 is the number to call. They can tell you when your sidewalk is to be repaired.
